Views from second year

This post coincides with the end of Mod 3 and the beginning of my last spring break ever. That also means I have exactly two months before returning to the real world to doing grown-up stuffs again. While I’m excited about the prospects of returning to an exciting career (and definitely earning some income), I’m not so excited about leaving this great informal lifestyle I’ve grown accustomed to in the last two year.

The reality though is that the journey that started with ASW in June 2006 is gradually coming to an end. I checked my calendar recently and realized it’s filled will a lot of tasks related to planning my graduation, housing/relocation planning, making multiple travel arrangements and having as much fun as possible. Compared to this time last year, all of these are luxury relative to the mega multi-tasking that comes with the first year of business school. As I write, I’m preparing to leave for vacation/exchange program at IPADE in Mexico. A handful of us from my class are traveling together and we’ll be joined by students from other business schools. During the last Mod, I had the opportunity to work with classmates from other concentrations and I’m looking forward to doing more of that in the final Mod ahead.

I’ll tell you about the trip to Mexico in my future posts.
